Registered customer information is only stored in the UNITRONIC AS system register if there is a customer relationship between the registered person and UNITRONIC AS.
The information is stored as long as the customer relationship is active. When the customer relationship ends, all data is deleted. Personal contact details that do not lead to a customer relationship will not be retained.
At the request of a registered person, personal data relating to them may be deleted irrespective of the customer relationship. After deletion of the data, the data is no longer used and cannot be used for the purposes mentioned in the report or for other purposes.
However, it is necessary to remember that legislation imposes obligations for long-term storage of some of the registered person’s information.
This applies, for example, to the following uses:
- The Accounting Act defines longer retention periods for information regardless of whether or not the data contains personal data.
- System log information is collected and stored as required by law to provide legal and safe service to customers.
- Taking sufficient backups from server databases and systems to secure data, fix bugs, and secure security and continuity.
- Server backups are retrospectively taken for 90 days. The data is then permanently deleted.
RIGHTS OF A REGISTERED CUSTOMER

The request sent by a registered customer must be unique so that Unitronic AS can verify the registered customer’s identity.
There are cases where it is not possible to delete all the personal data of a registered person.
This is the case where UNITRONIC AS has a statutory obligation or right to retain data.
In these cases, we will notify the registered customer of this with a written justification.
REQUESTING PERSONAL DATA
A registered customer can request information about their personal data stored in UNITRONIC AS information systems by contacting service(at)unitronic.no.
A registered customer may, if they so wish, request the removal of their personal data by contacting service(at)unitronic.no.
As mentioned above, there are cases where it is not possible to remove all information from a registered customer, for example, when required by legislation.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA TO THIRD PARTIES
We share website analytics and community-related customer information with third parties for analysis and marketing purposes. This allows us to provide our customers with interesting products and services.
If necessary, we will also disclose information at the request of the authorities. We also always inform the customer about such requests, if permitted by law. In other respects, we do not disclose information to third parties.
